Their buildings are still standing and in great condition. If you’re a history buff and want to learn more about the early history of Florida, Mound Key Archeological State Park, located in Estero Bay, is home to a Calusa Indian shell mound. Launch a kayak at Koreshan State Park, paddle to Mound Key and explore.

Fort Myers Beach
