Here’s a Recipe for a Hibiscus Martini
Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 1 serving
You’ll need:
Chilled martini glasses
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons of hibiscus tea
1 cup of superfine sugar
2 ounces of vodka
½ ounce of orange-flavored liqueur
1-ounce lime juice
¾ ounces of hibiscus syrup
Cocktail shaker
Ice
Directions for Making Hibiscus Syrup:
Bring 1 cup of water to a boil
Add 2 tablespoons of hibiscus tea and steep for 10 minutes
Take out the teabag and stir in sugar until it dissolves
Refrigerate until ready to use
Directions for Making Hibiscus Martini:
Pour 2 ounces of vodka, ½ ounce of orange-flavored liqueur, 1-ounce of lime juice and ¾ ounces of hibiscus syrup into a cocktail shaker
Add ice and shake for 7 to 8 seconds
Strain into a chilled martini glass
