Picture yourself sitting on a screened-in porch, looking down on the glistening sun-lit water of one of the most beautiful lakes in the mountains. Split Rail sits on a hill over looking Lake Glenville, a pristine lake with 26 miles of shoreline, located just just 8 miles from Cashiers. This is the highest lake in elevation east of the Mississippi River. An open floor plan with many windows allows for much natural light. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and an island with seating. In the living room, under the soaring tongue and groove ceiling, enjoy the view of the lake or a fire in the stone fireplace from the luxurious over-stuffed couch. There is a 55" smart TV in this room as well. The entry level guest room features a queen bed and a sliding glass door to the deck overlooking the lake. An adjacent full bathroom also serves as a powder room for this floor. Upstairs offers a master bedroom with a king bed, a 50” flat screen TV, a private bathroom with shower/tub combination and access to a private balcony overlooking the lake. There is also a second guest room on this floor with a queen bed, a flat screen TV with a full bath. The lower level renders another living area with a large couch that seats at least 6, a 65" television, gas fireplace and pool table. A lower level bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunk beds has a TV and uses a bathroom with a double shower. There are doors to the outside with an infinity deck with lake views, seating area, gas grill and hot tub. There is separate entrance to the very spacious “garage apartment” which holds two queen sized beds, ceiling fans, a flat screen TV and a private bath with shower/tub combination. The apartment offers sliding glass doors, providing natural light and a view of the lake, as well as a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink and microwave. This home also has a private dock located just a short walk down the driveway. There are 2 kayaks available. You also have use of the garage.
