Rental Description

Picture yourself sitting on a screened-in porch, looking down on the glistening sun-lit water of one of the most beautiful lakes in the mountains. Split Rail sits on a hill over looking Lake Glenville, a pristine lake with 26 miles of shoreline, located just just 8 miles from Cashiers. This is the highest lake in elevation east of the Mississippi River. An open floor plan with many windows allows for much natural light. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and an island with seating. In the living room, under the soaring tongue and groove ceiling, enjoy the view of the lake or a fire in the stone fireplace from the luxurious over-stuffed couch. There is a 55" smart TV in this room as well. The entry level guest room features a queen bed and a sliding glass door to the deck overlooking the lake. An adjacent full bathroom also serves as a powder room for this floor. Upstairs offers a master bedroom with a king bed, a 50” flat screen TV, a private bathroom with shower/tub combination and access to a private balcony overlooking the lake. There is also a second guest room on this floor with a queen bed, a flat screen TV with a full bath. The lower level renders another living area with a large couch that seats at least 6, a 65" television, gas fireplace and pool table. A lower level bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunk beds has a TV and uses a bathroom with a double shower. There are doors to the outside with an infinity deck with lake views, seating area, gas grill and hot tub. There is separate entrance to the very spacious “garage apartment” which holds two queen sized beds, ceiling fans, a flat screen TV and a private bath with shower/tub combination. The apartment offers sliding glass doors, providing natural light and a view of the lake, as well as a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink and microwave. This home also has a private dock located just a short walk down the driveway. There are 4 kayaks available. You also have use of the garage. 

* Landmark Vacation Rentals is following strict Covid-19 precautions to ensure that our employees and guests are staying well. We provide sheets, pillowcases, and a light blanket for each bed. Bathroom towels are also provided. These linens are professionally laundered. For guests' safety, the top-layer bedding (quilts, comforters, etc.) has been removed and placed in the closets. Please bring additional blankets with you. Thank you for understanding and helping so that all of us can remain safe during these unprecedented times.

Because all of our properties are individually owned, when you make a reservation for a specific accommodation we are obligated to keep your reservation for this same home. If you need additional room for more guests that would like to join you on your trip, you are welcome to call any of our vacation consultants at (866) 202-0723 to look at options for a 2nd accommodation that may be nearby your original choice. If you would like to change your choice of home altogether, we must follow the standard cancellation policy outlined in your terms and conditions and start a new reservation for your new choice.
No, we do not. However, we do offer some homes and condos that are ground level or provide elevators for easy access.
Yes, we do offer a selection of pet-friendly accommodations for an additional non-refundable pet fee.
While beach equipment may be provided in some properties, it is not provided in every property. Beach equipment may be rented through several local vendors.
• Two rolls of toilet paper per restroom • One box of tissue per restroom • One small facial/bath soap per restroom • One roll of paper towels in the kitchen • Seven dishwasher detergent pods • One small bottle of liquid dish soap • One pot scrub pad • Several trash bags per receptacle • Two to four appropriate laundry machine soap pods if the unit has a washer and dryer
Parking at our rental properties is complimentary for guests occupying the unit. Free parking may be available at our check-in locations on a first-come, first-served basis for additional cars. Motor homes, boat trailers, travel trailers, Jet Skis, etc., are not allowed at the rental properties. There are local facilities that can provide parking for these vehicles.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. for condos, and 4:00 p.m. for houses. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
Early check-in and late check-out times may be requested but are not guaranteed. If a late check-out request is granted, the time will be extended to 12:00 p.m. and an additional fee will be charged as follows: Condominiums: $50 Homes: $100 Departures later than the allotted 12:00 p.m. check-out time will require a full day payment.
