Beaches

Bonita Springs and Estero are home to two beaches, but they’re some of the best in Southwest Florida. Lovers Key State Park is in Fort Myers Beach, but it’s close to Bonita Springs. That’s also a nice option if you’re staying in Bonita Springs or Estero.

Barefoot Beach County Preserve

Barefoot Beach Preserve has a variety of things to do. There is a hiking trail and miles of pristine beach. It’s one of the last undeveloped barrier islands on the Sunshine State’s Southwest coast.  Beachgoers often see wildlife such as dolphins, gopher tortoises and shore birds. Barefoot Beach Country Preserve is at 505 Barefoot Beach Boulevard, Bonita Springs, 34134.

Bonita Beach Park

Bonita Beach Park is on Bonita Beach Road a little after Barefoot Beach Country Preserve and before Doc’s Beach House. It features eight picnic shelters, a boardwalk, and a gazebo. Bus and trolley services are available, if needed. You can find Bonita Beach Park at 27954 Hickory Boulevard, Bonita Springs, 34134.
