Vacation Rental Description

The home is located a short walk to Whisper Lake has a great three-sided wrap around porch. As you enter the house into the living room, the high ship lap walls and ceiling, hardwood floors, stone gas fireplace give the living room a warm and comfortable feel. The dining room sits six comfortably and the open kitchen with gas range and granite counter tops is very nice. The powder room and laundry area off the kitchen. The King Master bedroom is on the main level and has an attached bathroom with a garden tub and walk-in shower. Upstairs there are two Queen Bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bathroom. The lower level living area has a gas fireplace and gaming area. The Lower guest bedroom has a Queen bed and two bunk beds. There is also a bathroom on the lower with a tub/shower combo. The main level screened-in porch has dining for six and a lounge area that will seat four with a gas fire table and gas grill. There is also a fire pit for your enjoyment.
  • For everyone's safety and following state guidelines we are removing top-quilts from the beds. If you would like additional bed quilts, please bring with you.
  • There is a hot tub at the home, but it is not available for rental guests. 
* Landmark Vacation Rentals is following strict Covid-19 precautions to ensure that our employees and guests are staying well. We provide sheets, pillowcases, and a light blanket for each bed. Bathroom towels are also provided. These linens are professionally laundered. For guests' safety, the top-layer bedding (quilts, comforters, etc.) has been removed. Please bring additional blankets with you. Thank you for understanding and helping so that all of us can remain safe during these unprecedented times.

DUE TO CURRENT COVID RESTRICTIONS, THESE AMENITIES MAY BE LIMITED. PLEASE INQUIRE WHAT IS CURRENTLY OPEN.
This home comes with the option to purchase Sapphire Valley Resort amenities. These amenities are not at the home. They are in a separate drive-able location. You may join for $2/day (must have a 3 day minimum). Your amenity card will allow access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, Indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, wet sauna, exercise room, arcade, ping pong, pool, outdoor miniature golf, horseshoes, basketball courts, tennis courts, playground, track, picnic tables, community center, organized excursions to Cherokee and the Biltmore House in Asheville, a 9 hole (par 3) golf course, Fairfield Lake boating amenities and discounts on lift tickets and rentals during the winter season.

Frequently Asked Questions

Something came up and I'd like to change the choice of home I rented for vacation; am I allowed?

Because all of our properties are individually owned, when you make a reservation for a specific accommodation we are obligated to keep your reservation for this same home. If you need additional room for more guests that would like to join you on your trip, you are welcome to call any of our vacation consultants at (866) 202-0723 to look at options for a 2nd accommodation that may be nearby your original choice. If you would like to change your choice of home altogether, we must follow the standard cancellation policy outlined in your terms and conditions and start a new reservation for your new choice.

Do you offer handicap accessible vacations rentals?

No, we do not. However, we do offer some homes and condos that are ground level or provide elevators for easy access.

Is smoking permitted?

No.

Do you have pet friendly properties?

Yes, we do offer a selection of pet-friendly accommodations for an additional non-refundable pet fee.

Do all of the properties provide beach equipment?

While beach equipment may be provided in some properties, it is not provided in every property. Beach equipment may be rented through several local vendors.

Are linens provided with Royal Shell properties?

Yes.

Are the kitchens fully stocked with pots and pans ?

Yes.

What is provided in the Welcome Starter Kit?

• Two rolls of toilet paper per restroom • One box of tissue per restroom • One small facial/bath soap per restroom • One roll of paper towels in the kitchen • Seven dishwasher detergent pods • One small bottle of liquid dish soap • One pot scrub pad • Several trash bags per receptacle • Two to four appropriate laundry machine soap pods if the unit has a washer and dryer

Is parking free?

Parking at our rental properties is complimentary for guests occupying the unit. Free parking may be available at our check-in locations on a first-come, first-served basis for additional cars. Motor homes, boat trailers, travel trailers, Jet Skis, etc., are not allowed at the rental properties. There are local facilities that can provide parking for these vehicles.

What are the check-in/check-out times?

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. for condos, and 4:00 p.m. for houses. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.

Are early check-in and late check-out requests available?

Early check-in and late check-out times may be requested but are not guaranteed. If a late check-out request is granted, the time will be extended to 12:00 p.m. and an additional fee will be charged as follows: Condominiums: $50 Homes: $100 Departures later than the allotted 12:00 p.m. check-out time will require a full day payment.

Where do we pick up keys?

Pick up your keys at the designated Royal Shell office indicated in your emailed confirmation letter.
