Rental Description

Whits End is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom lakefront retreat. Through out the main living areas are vaulted ceiling and a series of sliding glass doors with deck access to gorgeous lake views. A beautiful kitchen, living and dining are are beautifully surrounded by rustic panel walls and windows and doors designed to maximize the view from every turn. The master bedroom is located on the main level and includes a king bed, flat screen TV and a spacious bathroom with double sinks and a shower. From the master bedroom is a private access to the deck. On the upper level, a charming office space with a queen bed and fold out twin bed, leads to a comfortable bedroom with a queen bed, twin daybed and newly renovated bathroom. The PlayStation 2 in the loft may be used during your stay. On the lower level of the house is a king bed, 2 twin beds and a bathroom. The open deck offers outdoor dining options and is equipped with a gas grill. You may find that the perfect place for absolute respite and relaxation is in the comfort of the red Adirondack chairs watching a spectacular sunset over the lake. Another lovely viewing spot; bring a glass of wine to your private dock, relax and dangle your toes in the water. There is a canoe with personal flotation devices and paddles available. Whits End is conveniently located on the east side of Lake Glenville, close to the area's unique shops, breath taking waterfalls, hiking trails galore, and of course, fine dining. Summer is always grand on the lake. Make Whits End your home in the mountains, whether for a weekend or a season. With its convenient location just off Hwy 107 there may be some road noise.

Bathroom towels are also provided. These linens are professionally laundered. For guests' safety, the top-layer bedding (quilts, comforters, etc.) has been removed. Please bring additional blankets with you. Thank you for understanding and helping so that all of us can remain safe during these unprecedented times.

During the Summer Season this home must be booked Friday to Friday.

Because all of our properties are individually owned, when you make a reservation for a specific accommodation we are obligated to keep your reservation for this same home. If you need additional room for more guests that would like to join you on your trip, you are welcome to call any of our vacation consultants at (866) 202-0723 to look at options for a 2nd accommodation that may be nearby your original choice. If you would like to change your choice of home altogether, we must follow the standard cancellation policy outlined in your terms and conditions and start a new reservation for your new choice.
No, we do not. However, we do offer some homes and condos that are ground level or provide elevators for easy access.
Yes, we do offer a selection of pet-friendly accommodations for an additional non-refundable pet fee.
While beach equipment may be provided in some properties, it is not provided in every property. Beach equipment may be rented through several local vendors.
• Two rolls of toilet paper per restroom • One box of tissue per restroom • One small facial/bath soap per restroom • One roll of paper towels in the kitchen • Seven dishwasher detergent pods • One small bottle of liquid dish soap • One pot scrub pad • Several trash bags per receptacle • Two to four appropriate laundry machine soap pods if the unit has a washer and dryer
Parking at our rental properties is complimentary for guests occupying the unit. Free parking may be available at our check-in locations on a first-come, first-served basis for additional cars. Motor homes, boat trailers, travel trailers, Jet Skis, etc., are not allowed at the rental properties. There are local facilities that can provide parking for these vehicles.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. for condos, and 4:00 p.m. for houses. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
Early check-in and late check-out times may be requested but are not guaranteed. If a late check-out request is granted, the time will be extended to 12:00 p.m. and an additional fee will be charged as follows: Condominiums: $50 Homes: $100 Departures later than the allotted 12:00 p.m. check-out time will require a full day payment.
