Scotch Bonnet really is the perfect island retreat for anyone with an appetite for a luxurious stay in paradise.

This charming vacation rental cottage is located on the gulf-to-bay section of Captiva Island. With a completely remodeled interior, views of the Gulf of Mexico and the bay, a lap pool, a guest cottage, and a boat dock, this little beauty has everything you need for a relaxing stay in luxury.

The main house is a two story cottage. The ground level has a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and a Keurig coffeemaker, living room and dining area and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Everything is new, modern, sleek and clean. Enjoy outdoor dining overlooking the pool. The second level has 2 bedrooms both with queen beds and great views. They share a Jack & Jill bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Enjoy a beautiful view of the bay from the upstairs deck. Amenities include tile floors throughout, plantation shutters, 3 TVs, DVDs, free wi-fi and washer/dryer. There is outdoor parking only.

Like the main house everything in the guest house has been redone. It is a quaint studio cottage with a living/bedroom/kitchen area (no stove) and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The bed is a queen. There is a wall-mounted flat screen TV and a small dining area. You are located steps to the dock and canoe launch.

Enjoy the Florida sun from the beautiful, new lap pool and deck located between the houses. There is a boat dock on the bay side of the home, a kayak or canoe launch (not a boat launch) and deeded beach access. Beach towels and beach equipment including an umbrella are provided. Bring your own cooler!

Because all of our properties are individually owned, when you make a reservation for a specific accommodation we are obligated to keep your reservation for this same home. If you need additional room for more guests that would like to join you on your trip, you are welcome to call any of our vacation consultants at (866) 202-0723 to look at options for a 2nd accommodation that may be nearby your original choice. If you would like to change your choice of home altogether, we must follow the standard cancellation policy outlined in your terms and conditions and start a new reservation for your new choice.
No, we do not. However, we do offer some homes and condos that are ground level or provide elevators for easy access.
Yes, we do offer a selection of pet-friendly accommodations for an additional non-refundable pet fee.
While beach equipment may be provided in some properties, it is not provided in every property. Beach equipment may be rented through several local vendors.
• Two rolls of toilet paper per restroom • One box of tissue per restroom • One small facial/bath soap per restroom • One roll of paper towels in the kitchen • Seven dishwasher detergent pods • One small bottle of liquid dish soap • One pot scrub pad • Several trash bags per receptacle • Two to four appropriate laundry machine soap pods if the unit has a washer and dryer
Parking at our rental properties is complimentary for guests occupying the unit. Free parking may be available at our check-in locations on a first-come, first-served basis for additional cars. Motor homes, boat trailers, travel trailers, Jet Skis, etc., are not allowed at the rental properties. There are local facilities that can provide parking for these vehicles.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. for condos, and 4:00 p.m. for houses. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
Early check-in and late check-out times may be requested but are not guaranteed. If a late check-out request is granted, the time will be extended to 12:00 p.m. and an additional fee will be charged as follows: Condominiums: $50 Homes: $100 Departures later than the allotted 12:00 p.m. check-out time will require a full day payment.
Pick up your keys at the designated Royal Shell office indicated in your emailed confirmation letter.
