Cantrella Canady Revenue Manager
Fort Myers, Florida, native, Cantrella Canady, has been in the hospitality industry since 2001. She has served in different positions including accounting clerk, night auditor, front desk, and reservationist. As the Director of Vacation Planning for Royal Shell, Cantrella enjoys training and developing her Vacation Planning Advisors and support staff to be the best that Southwest Florida has to offer.
Cantrella is a proud graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in communication. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for public speaking and presentations. She served with the Florida African American Student Association as President for her local chapter as well as Region IV Coordinator, Region IV Director, and Vice President of Programs on the State Board Executive Committee. She has also performed with several local singing groups and joined local community radio stations as an on-air personality and sound engineer.
Cantrella is currently active with another passion she’s developed over the years: Theater. She has performed in several of the theaters and venues throughout Southwest Florida in productions including “Sister Act: The Musical,” “A Raisin in the Sun,” “The Bluest Eye,” and “For Colored Girls…” to name a few. When she isn’t on stage bringing characters to life, Cantrella enjoys her free time by attending live theatrical performances, listening to all genres of music, surrounding herself with the love of her family and friends, and traveling at any opportunity she gets.
